At NJT Adventure Co., safety and responsibility are our top priorities. Before joining any ride or renting a motorcycle, all riders must review and sign our full Rental Agreement. Below is a clear summary of the key points.

 

 

📝 What You Agree To

By signing the agreement, you acknowledge that you:

  • Accept all risks associated with off‑road riding

  • Release NJT Adventure Co. from liability for injuries or damages

  • Agree to ride safely and responsibly

  • Will follow all rules and instructions from guides

  • Are financially responsible for any damage to the motorcycle

 

💰 Damage Responsibility

You are responsible for any damage caused during your rental. Examples include:

  • Broken lever: $25

  • Bent handlebar: $150

  • Plastics: $200

  • Engine damage: $1500+

  • Total loss: Full replacement value

Actual repair costs may vary.

 

🚫 Unauthorized Riders

Only the person who signs the agreement may operate the motorcycle. Letting someone else ride results in:

  • Immediate termination of rental

  • Loss of deposit

  • Full responsibility for all damages

 

🛠️ Mechanical Issues

  • Normal wear failures are covered by us

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper operation is your responsibility

 

📍 GPS Tracking

Motorcycles may be GPS‑tracked for safety and recovery. We may retrieve the bike at your expense if it’s taken outside approved areas or used improperly.

 

🧤 Gear Responsibility

We provide helmets and protective gear if you don’t have your own. You are responsible for:

  • Wearing proper gear at all times

  • Inspecting gear before use

  • Returning gear in good condition

 

🌦️ Weather & Conditions

No refunds are issued due to weather, trail conditions, or environmental factors.

 

⛔ Prohibited Behavior

Riders may not:

  • Ride on public roads

  • Ride under the influence

  • Perform stunts or race

  • Ignore guide instructions

  • Modify the motorcycle

 

🧭 Guided Ride Expectations

Our guides are here to lead the route — not to supervise or guarantee your safety.

You remain responsible for:

  • Speed

  • Line choice

  • Hazard avoidance

  • Riding within your skill level

 

📅 Cancellation Policy

  • 14+ days before rental: Full refund

  • Within 14 days: 50% refund

  • Within 48 hours or no‑show: No refund

 

🏥 Medical Treatment

You authorize emergency medical treatment if needed and agree to cover all associated costs.

 

⚖️ Legal Terms

  • No warranties are provided

  • California law applies

  • All disputes are resolved through binding arbitration
